  4. N O V E L L  DataClub Repair Patch for Version 2.0 DataClub
  5.  
  6. This patch will repair a corrupted DataClub Control File.  A corrupted DataClub Control File can cause the following symptoms:

  8. 1.  DataClub icon will not appear on the desktop and will be greyed out in the chooser.
  9.  
  10. 2.  Files or folders will disappear and reappear.  This could also indicated that the location of the DataClub Icon (known as the parent folder) has been corrupted.

  12. 3.  Locations will appear and then disappear.  This sympton could also be an unstable network due to bad cabling-please check that area first if you have this symptom.

  14. 4.  Folders will take on other folders identity.  For example:  You create a new folder on a lower level in DataClub, and that folder takes the identity of a folder located on the top level.  This problem can happen when upgrading from an earlier version of DataClub to version 2.0.

This application can only be run on a v2.0 DataClub system.  Restart the Macintosh with the shift key held down and then launch the Repair application.  This is only a top level repair.  If there is a major corruption then the only other solution is to back-up, reformat, and then reinstall DataClub.
